TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged pupils with autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD and PMLD at a Taunton special needs school. You will assist with learning activities, implement IEPs, and support personal care needs in a nurturing environment.

The role offers a competitive daily pay rate (£92.63–£105.36), ongoing training, and a supportive team dedicated to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in Taunton. Our school caters to secondary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs, including:

• Autism
• Asperger's Syndrome
• ADHD
• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

• Supporting individual students and small groups with their learning and development
• Assisting with classroom activities and preparing learning materials
• Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitoring progress
• Promoting positive behavior and social interactions
• Providing personal care and assistance as needed
