Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join the future development of a Special Educational Needs school working with Affinity Workforce, based around E17, IG8, and RM3, with high standards of behaviour and achievement.

We are seeking to appoint a keen and committed learning support assistant to support our children, including individuals and groups, both academically and socially.

The successful applicant:

  • Will understand how children learn.
  • Have experience supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative.
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Have experience working with children with a range of additional needs, including Autism and speech and language difficulties, both in small groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
