Overview

Responsibilities
  • Teach designated pupils and undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties to provide high quality and continuity of education in the absence of their regular class teacher.
  • Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
  • Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Have effective verbal and written communication
  • Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
  • Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
  • SEN/SEMH needs
  • Strong behaviour management techniques
