We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators and support staff.

The Role

As a Special Needs Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to work in small class sizes, with a maximum of 6 pupils, alongside 3 dedicated teaching assistants and a collaborative team of professionals. This close-knit environment allows for individualized attention and tailored support, ensuring every student receives the care and guidance they deserve.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and a sense of community.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities to continuously enhance your teaching skills.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in KS3.
