Job Opportunity: Teacher at an Outstanding School in Barnet

Hours: 08:30 – 16:00 (Full time and part time available)

Protocol Education is working with an “Outstanding” Ofsted-rated school in Barnet that is looking for a Teacher to join their team.

The school prides itself on providing a high-quality learning environment and fostering student development through effective teaching and support.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and delivering lessons aligned with school policies and schemes of work.
  2. Providing students with regular assessments and constructive feedback to promote progress.
  3. Building positive relationships with Teaching Assistants to create an inspiring classroom environment.
  4. Participating in departmental and staff meetings to share best practices.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Understanding of different SEN types and effective teaching methods tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
  • A passion for education and helping students reach their potential.
  • Positive, consistent, and proactive behavior management skills.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to ensure steady student progress.
  • Resilient and positive attitude.
  • Experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive outlook.

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent placement later.
