Special Needs Support - Graduate Role

Opportunities across Salford, Bolton & Warrington / Competitive (£90+ per day) / Full-time and AdHoc roles available - Term-time only / ASAP (following registration)

We’re on the hunt for an enthusistic recent graduate or final year studentto join our SEN Team at Teaching Personnel working closely with our SEN school and specialist provisions across Salford, Bolton and Warrington. You’ll be stepping into a vibrant, warm, and highly supportive environment with a dedicated consultant working with you to support your placement.

What kind of students will I support?

You'll be working closely with students who may have:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)– which can impact how students communicate, interact socially, and process the world around them.
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)– meaning some students need extra time and support with things like reading, writing, speaking, or daily routines.
• Other additional needs– this might include speech and language difficulties, sensory processing challenges, anxiety, or behaviours that communicate unmet needs.

These young people arebrilliant, full of potential, and just need the right support to shine — that’s where you come in.

What will I be doing?

• Supporting students1:1 or in small groups, helping them stay engaged and feel safe in their learning environment.
• Using strategies likevisual aids, structured routines, sensory regulation, andpositive behaviour supportto help students succeed.
• Encouraging communication and confidence — whether that’s helping a student learn a new word, develop friendships, or simply feel heard and understood.
• Working closely withteachers, therapists, and other TAsto deliver tailored learning and care plans.
• Helping students learn essential life skills, build independence, and enjoy their school day.
