About the role:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN)

  • Assist with the development and delivery of individual learning plans and strategies

  • Support students in both academic and social settings, promoting independence and confidence

  • Help students with their personal care needs as required

  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment by supporting diverse learning styles

  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students

  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team

  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive, respectful atmosphere

  • Support the use of specialized equipment and resources to aid students' learning

  • Work closely with parents and outside agencies to ensure holistic support for students
