Overview

SEN Learning Support Assistant - Level 2 or 3 qualified or a degree in Psychology
Location: Leicester LE4
Contract: Long term
Hours: 29.5 hours per week (8:30am – 3:30pm) | ongoing long-term
Salary: £90-£110 per day
Start Date: After the October half-term break

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate, proactive, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant that has a Level 2 or 3 in Teaching and learning (or similar) to join a primary school in Leicester.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting a pupil with high level needs through tailored activities.
  • Delivering one-on-one interventions to promote engagement and progress.
  • Creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to meet the pupil's EHCP targets.
  • Assisting with personal development, sensory programmes, and emotional regulation strategies where needed.
Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential
