Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Ongoing position
  • Location: London borough of Newham
  • Salary: £97 - £115 per day

Role Overview:

Providing social, emotional, & cognitive support for students with various SEMH-related needs.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in developing their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Liaising with the class teacher, SENCO, & wider community professionals (e.g., Educational Psychologist) to ensure students are on track.
  • Assisting in creating a progressive & welcoming learning environment.
  • Working with students across various year groups with learning disabilities (Autism, ADHD) and mental health needs.
