Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley seeks a teaching assistant for a specialist SEMH school. You will support pupils aged 5-16, helping them access learning while enjoying a healthy work-life balance with school holidays off.

Daily rate £95-£105, schedule Mon-Fri 08:30-16:30. Required: 3–6 months experience, GCSE English/Maths, trauma-informed approach, driving license, Enhanced DBS. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of experience in educational or support settings.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent).
• A trauma-informed approach to student care and educational guidance.
• Willingness to assist pupils aged 5–16 with personal care.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
