A leading educational support organization in the United Kingdom seeks a Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one, small group, and in-class support for students with Special Educational Needs. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and experience in a school environment. This temporary role includes safeguarding training and the potential for permanent placement later.
Are you a newly qualified teacher or teaching assistant? Or do you have experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs.
Our opportunity
In this role, you'll be the hero for students who need a little extra help. You'll work closely with small groups and individual students, guided by the class teacher. It's all about creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every student can thrive.
We are looking for a LSA who:
• Will be able to provide one-to-one, small group and in-class support for students, under the direction of the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
• Will be confident and empathetic working with students who have a range of support needs, which can include physical, learning, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Will have good literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills and have experience of supporting and working with students with a range of additional learning needs.
• Has suitable experience of working in a school environment with students and possesses understanding of the importance of safeguarding children in a school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
