Are you a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teacher with a passion for making a real difference in young lives?
Academics are proud to be supporting a fantastic SEMH secondary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in their search for a talented SEMH Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, permanent basis.

This inclusive SEMH school, based right in the heart of Basingstoke, caters to pupils aged 10-16 with social, emotional and mental health challenges, as well as other complex needs including Autism. With small class sizes and a personalised approach to education, the school provides a supportive setting where staff can focus on each student's academic and emotional development.

Located in Basingstoke, the school has undergone recent improvements and boasts excellent facilities such as a brand-new IT suite, a modern gym, and a fully refurbished library. The staff team in Basingstoke is known for their dedication and teamwork, creating an environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teacher who is emotionally resilient, nurturing, and confident in delivering creative and differentiated lessons from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 4. Previous experience in an SEMH or SEN setting is desirable, though teachers from mainstream backgrounds with a strong understanding of student needs are welcome to apply. QTS is essential.
