Job summary

Ripple Education is seeking an SEN Support Assistant to help children with special educational needs in Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will work in schools and nurseries, providing targeted support and contributing to inclusive learning environments.

Training and mentoring are provided to guide your journey, with an emphasis on teamwork, patience, and effective communication. Prior experience is not required but desirable for progression within the role.

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant

Position Overview

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children with special educational needs reach their full potential. You may not have prior experience, but if your heart lies in making a positive impact, Ripple Education will provide bespoke training and support to guide your journey.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑on‑one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
