Blatchington Mill School in Portslade by Sea is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. The role is permanent and based on a 28.75-hour term-time schedule, with flexible or part-time arrangements considered.

You will help pupils overcome barriers to learning, promote independence and assist in managing pupils in and out of the classroom, under the guidance of teachers.

• Interest in working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Conscientious and empathetic approach.
• Positive and creative approach.
• Ability to support learning both in and out of the classroom.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning, working under instruction and guidance.
