Job description

Library Services are seeking to appoint a proactive Special Collections and Archives Librarian to join our research and content teams.

This is a newly created post will support the establishment of an University archive service. You will lead the development of the University archive and our existing special collections, including the National Basketball Heritage Collection (NBHC). Managing stakeholder relationships and promoting the innovative use of the collections and university archives to support library services strategic objectives in relation to learning and teaching, research and community engagement will be key aspects of the role.

The University of Worcester Library Services is an innovative and high-quality service achieving student satisfaction scores of above 90%. Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.
