The University of Worcester is seeking a proactive Special Collections and Archives Librarian to support the establishment of an innovative University archive service. This role will involve leading the development of existing special collections, particularly the National Basketball Heritage Collection, while managing stakeholder relationships to enhance library services. The ideal candidate will contribute to promoting student success and community engagement within a friendly and supportive work environment.
Library Services are seeking to appoint a proactive Special Collections and Archives Librarian to join our research and content teams.
This is a newly created post will support the establishment of an University archive service. You will lead the development of the University archive and our existing special collections, including the National Basketball Heritage Collection (NBHC). Managing stakeholder relationships and promoting the innovative use of the collections and university archives to support library services strategic objectives in relation to learning and teaching, research and community engagement will be key aspects of the role.

Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.
