Job summary

Semperian Group seeks an SPC Manager to deliver SPC management services on a full-time basis from a home-based location, with regular travel to Wiltshire and Richmond. You will support the SPC Board and investors with policy and contract compliance across multiple projects.

The role includes implementing health and safety monitoring, preparing statutory reports, and acting as the SPC's representative under the PA and FMA, ensuring service provider performance and contract obligations are met.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a construction or FM discipline.
• IOSH Managing Safely or higher and safety knowledge.
• Experience with PFI projects in the operational phase.
• Familiar with public sector procurement and contract management.
• Experience dealing with senior client representatives.
• DBS check at an appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop financial and operational policies and procedures that ensure the efficient conduct of the SPC.
• Ensure the SPC H&S monitoring regime is implemented.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory reports, returns statistics and accounts etc.
• Act as the SPC's Representative under the PA and FMA on all matters affecting the agreements entered into and on policy, strategy, overall performance and contract compliance.
• Ensure completion of the obligations of the services team under the operation management contracts, including the management of variations.
• Monitor the performance of all third party service providers to each SPC operating company to ensure minimisation of deductions in respect of performance and availability and including the Project Compliance Review monitoring regime and closing all related actions.

SPC Manager

Semperian Group are looking to recruit an SPC Manager, Home Based, on a full time, permanent contract basis. Whilst the role is home based, it will require regular travel to Wiltshire and Richmond. This role is to provide SPC management services to one or a number of PFI Projects on behalf of the SPC Board, its investors and the Semperian Group business.

SPC Manager Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop financial and operational policies and procedures that ensure the efficient conduct of the SPC.
• Ensure the SPC H&S monitoring regime is implemented.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory reports, returns statistics and accounts etc. in line with applicable law and in accordance with the operations management contracts.
• Act as the SPC's Representative under the PA and FMA on all matters affecting the agreements entered into and on policy, strategy, overall performance and contract compliance.
• Ensure completion of the obligations of the services team under the operation management contracts, including the management of variations.

SPC Manager Requirements

• Degree level qualification in a construction or F.M. discipline or extensive senior level experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety Regulations, equating to IOSH Managing Safely course or higher
• Sound knowledge of the operation and management of PFI projects in the operational phase.
• Knowledge of the relevant public sector area under role responsibility
• Experience of dealing with senior Client organisation representatives.
• Successful DBS check of relevant level.
