The Spares and Logistics Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the management, distribution, and inventory control of spare parts, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs for the FSO. This position requires collaboration with MSIP, EGI & FSO to drive process implementation. Reporting to the Head of Vendor Management, you will work with Ericsson HWS teams to enable effective and timely spares returns. A thorough understanding of FSO & HWS logistics processes and stakeholder management is essential. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and act as a key interface between Vendor Management, Field Service Management, HWS, and MSIP. A customer-centric approach and effective stakeholder management are vital to align interests and facilitate collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Spare Parts Management: Locate spare part numbers or alternatives, manage end-of-life components, oversee return processes, and handle back orders.
  • Supplier Coordination: Attend ORM meetings, manage vendor relationships, and report issues affecting SPM services.
  • Asset Management: Use systems like Leo for test equipment management, conduct audits, and manage allocations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, participate in operational meetings, and coordinate efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements, support service initiatives, and contribute to problem management strategies.
  • Interface and Coordination: Act as the interface between various teams, coordinate across departments, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Incident and Dispatch Management: Collaborate with dispatch and incident teams for fault resolution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain procedural documentation, prepare KPI reports, and analyze process failures.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Assist in integrating new products into existing processes.
  • Outcome Achievement: Use stakeholder management to ensure alignment and mutual benefits.

Key interfaces: Vendor Management, Ericsson Hardware Services, FSO Customer Operations, Field and Support Teams, Service Management, External Customers.

Requirements:

  • OND/HNC or 5 years’ experience in a mobile environment.
  • Proven experience in spare parts management and logistics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of spares supply chain for mobile incident repair.
  • Proficient in Excel reporting.
