The Role
Spanish is a popular and successful subject throughout the school with many students opting to study Spanish at GCSE. We have also recently introduced Spanish as an A Level option. You will join a well-qualified, friendly and committed Spanish team. The school offers excellent support for ECTs in their induction year. This is an exceptional opportunity. It will offer the successful candidate a friendly, highly supportive and committed working environment within a culture of success and professional growth.
The Person
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher who can inspire and excite students about their learning. You will have an innovative approach to developing a Spanish curriculum that is inclusive to all students and makes good use of ICT. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Spanish across the full age and ability range up to and including your specialism at A Level. The ability to work within a team is essential and candidates will be expected to have good ICT skills. A sound knowledge and understanding of best practice in the accurate assessment of student work is essential.
