Position Overview:

The Spanish Teacher will instruct students from KS3 to KS5, promoting fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension. The role involves creating engaging lessons, encouraging cultural awareness, and collaborating with colleagues, including participation in extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive and student-centered Spanish lessons
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
• Create engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Develop students' written and oral communication skills
• Participate in faculty meetings and school events
• Communicate with parents about student progress
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
• Certification in Teaching Spanish (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Spanish from KS3 to KS5
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate students
• Experience with classroom technology is a plus
• Native or near-native Spanish proficiency
