Position Overview:
The Spanish Teacher will instruct students from KS3 to KS5, promoting fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, while encouraging cultural awareness and engaging lesson plans. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in extracurricular activities are also expected.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach Spanish language and culture using interactive methods
  2. Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
  3. Develop engaging lesson plans and assessments
  4. Create an inclusive classroom environment
  5. Develop students' written and oral communication skills
  6. Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities
  7. Communicate with parents regarding student progress
  8. Collaborate on interdisciplinary programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
  • Certification in Teaching Spanish (QTS or equivalent)
  • Previous teaching experience with KS3 to KS5 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate students
  • Experience with classroom technology is a plus
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
