About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Camden seeks a passionate Spanish Teacher to join their modern foreign languages department. You'll inspire a love of the Spanish language and culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish Teacher lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, and cultural topics.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
• Develop students' language skills and intercultural understanding.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of the Spanish curriculum and resources.
• Organise and lead Spanish-related extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and cultural exchanges.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Spanish.
• Proven experience in teaching Spanish at secondary level.
• Strong language skills and a passion for Spanish language and culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• MPS/UPS salary scale, dependent on experience.
