Job description

Wayman Group is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish teacher to join a brilliant school in Brent starting in April. This opportunity offers a chance to work with a vibrant and diverse student population, while contributing to their language development in an engaging and supportive environment.


Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to primary/secondary school students.
  • Implement instructional activities that promote student interaction and understanding.
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs and abilities.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and achievements.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and a strong understanding of the language, literature, and culture.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and its application to Spanish language teaching.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
