Marchant Recruitment is helping a secondary school in Bury St Edmunds find a Spanish Teacher for KS3–KS4 on a permanent part-time basis (0.8 FTE). Start date is January 2027, with a pro-rata MPS/UPS salary dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will develop speaking, listening, reading and writing, teach grammar and translation in context, and prepare GCSE classes for assessments while monitoring progress and planning targeted support.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong Spanish language knowledge and subject understanding.
• Able to make language learning engaging and accessible.
• Maintains clear expectations and effective classroom routines.

Responsabilités

• Develop speaking, listening, reading and writing through structured lessons.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary and translation in context.
