As part of the Legal Group, the Paralegal provides legal assistance to corporate lawyers and contractual support to internal project teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Acts as liaison between company lawyers, outside counsel and clients,
• Provide day to day legal support for internal project teams in our Spanish entity and support company lawyers and employees in other company entities as required
• Assembles, proofs and edits drafts of contracts, licenses and other appropriate legal documents
• Prepares and files legal documents with appropriate entities, as required
• Analyze and provide a review for English speaking lawyers and employees for any contracts and legal documents received in Spanish
• Provides advice and support on Spanish public procurement regulations to ensure company and tender compliance
• Conducts research on projects as directed by corporate lawyers
• Research, review and ensure the company's compliance with regulations
• Assists internally in analyzing documents
• Compiles data from trusted legal resources

Qualifications:

• University degree in Law. A masters degree in Public Procurement is desirable
• Law office experience and / or as an in-house company lawyer
• 5+ years of experience in the functions described
• Fluent in in spoken and written Spanish and English
• It is essential to have knowledge and experience of Spanish public procurement regulations. It is desirable to have knowledge of online platforms for the presentation of Spanish public offers
• Knowledge of office automation equipment/software related to activities
• All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Working conditions:

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
