Our client, a reputable academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking a committed Spanish and French Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach two exciting and vibrant languages, encouraging students to develop fluency and a deeper appreciation of Spanish and French-speaking cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in both Spanish and French across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.

• Foster a positive and immersive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural awareness.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

• Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSEs, through focused teaching and revision sessions.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum.

• Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and staff to support student well-being and academic success.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and French, with the ability to teach both languages.
