A leading aerospace company in Portsmouth is looking for an Assembly Operative. You will be involved in the mechanical integration of spacecraft components, interpreting technical documentation, and performing automated tests. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical integration and the ability to work in a team. This role includes shift work with a 20% uplift.
Carbon60 is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join their team based in Portsmouth. As a Assembly Operative (Spacecraft Production Operator), you will play a crucial role in the assembly and integration of payload equipment, connectivity items, and electrical systems for the company's cutting-edge spacecraft projects.
This position has both PAYE rates and Umbrella rates available, due to it being shift work you also get a 20% uplift. Shifts will cover either double days or a 4 on 4 off pattern.

To be successful in this role, the Spacecraft Production Operator must have a strong understanding of spacecraft production processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Relevant experience in electrical and mechanical integration, as well as familiarity with COSHH requirements, is highly desirable.
