Job summary

Expleo Group in Stevenage is looking for a Mechatronics Technician to support high-end space capability assembly. The role requires self-motivation, precision, and the ability to work with various mechanical and electronic components.

Qualifications

• Experience working and delivering in a mechatronic environment.
• Understanding of Space/Aerospace Quality Assurance Requirements.
• Previous experience in mechanical and electrical installation, testing, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical activities on spacecraft sub-assemblies.
• Assemble and install connectors, perform harness crimping and soldering.
• Conduct precision bearing and rotor assembly.

Skills

Electronic hands on assembly and equipment integration

Precision Mechanical Installation and Assembly Experience

Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with ability to prioritise

Computer literacy using Microsoft Office

Education

BTEC ONC or equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline

Fully Indentured Apprenticeship in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Electronic
