Job summary

Belcan is recruiting an AIT Electrical Test Operations Engineer to support electrical testing and validation of spacecraft at an Oxford site. The role covers the full test lifecycle—from bench tests to flight spacecraft verification—ensuring mission-critical systems perform flawlessly before launch.

You will work in a high-tech cleanroom, executing complex test procedures, supporting integration activities, and contributing to major space programmes, including 24/7 shift support and UK travel

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and RF test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers).
• Experience updating CCS test sequences/scripts.
• Ability to work 24/7 shift patterns and travel UK for test campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical and functional test procedures on engineering benches and flight spacecraft.
• Operate CCS, EGSE, and SCOE to run automated and manual test sequences.
• Prepare test setups, perform measurements, and validate test aids.
• Update test procedures, raise work orders, and produce detailed reports.
• Support development and debugging of ATPs using high-level scripting.
• Conduct electrical integration and testing at unit, subsystem, and system levels.
• Provide electrical support during environmental and launch test campaigns.
• Assist with design and manufacture of electrical test aids and manufacturing packs.
