Job summary

Oxford Space Systems in Harwell, United Kingdom, is expanding its mechanical engineering team. We are hiring two Mechanical Engineers: one focusing on Design and one on Analysis and Test to advance our deployable antennas and flight-model product lines.

You will work on mechanical engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support bids and supplier engagement, and strive to reduce cost, risk and lead time while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or physical sciences.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to deliver to project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical engineering projects across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, procurement and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, risk and lead time while improving processes.
• Support bids, proposals and supplier engagement, and integration of new technologies.
