Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks an engineer to own integration and verification of space-communication systems, spanning baseband and RF levels. You will develop and maintain measurement setups for modem/link validation and collaborate across DSP, hardware, and software teams.

The role requires meticulous, end-to-end system thinking with hands-on RF, Python, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or Physics.
• 2+ years of RF measurement and instrumentation experience.
• 2+ years of Python programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, implement, and maintain measurement/test solutions for link/modem validation
• Define calibration and metrology aspects (statistical analysis, confidence levels, error budgets)
• Develop modular, reusable Python software for various setups
• Analyze and troubleshoot link-performance issues
• Collaborate with DSP/HW/SW teams to improve system performance
