The purpose of this position is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and direction as listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor’s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position serves as an Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects or performs complex to difficult engineering assignments, evaluates, selects, and applies advanced engineering techniques to a broad set of complex assignments.

  • Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecasts
  • Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts
  • Develop and review specifications, including design criteria
  • Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting
  • Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems of complex to difficult engineering complexity
  • Participate in people development through mentoring, development of training material, conducting training seminars, and performance appraisal input and counseling
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
  • Work in both metric and imperial measurements
  • Accurately document complex as-built buildings and office plans
  • Compile and report weekly activities
  • Track and organize multiple projects
  • Update department webpages
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials

  • Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs

  • More than 10 years of leadership supporting full-cycle CADD requirements across DoD facilities and O&M environments
  • Strong understanding of Archibus and its application to facilities and asset management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for developing, reviewing, and interpreting technical drawings and project plans.
  • Skill in using Autodesk Vault to manage engineering documents, track revisions, and maintain version control.
  • Knowledge of Archibus for facilities management, asset tracking, or space planning to support project workflows.
  • Ability to apply web design principles to update or maintain internal project webpages, dashboards, or client-facing content.

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
