Job summary

European Space Agency in Harwell is offering an internship with the Vulcan Analogue Sample Facility inside the ExPeRT team. You will contribute to planetary science tasks related to analogue samples and materials, working with ESA teams across Europe.

Ideal candidates are university students in the final or penultimate year of their Master’s program, able to prove enrollment for the entire duration, and possessing knowledge of planetary science or geoscience with strong English or French skills.

Qualifications

• University student in final or penultimate year of a Master’s program.
• Must be enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Knowledge of Planetary Science or Geoscience is required or strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of English or French is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analogue sample research and related technologies.
• Collaborate with ESA teams (primarily Spaceship ECSAT) on planetary science activities.
• Assist in characterisation and analysis of analogue materials.
