European Space Agency (ESA) in Harwell is offering an internship with the Vulcan Team focused on planetary and material science. The role involves contributing to analogue sample development, characterisation methods, and collaboration with ECSAT and ExPeRT teams.

You must be a university student, ideally in final or penultimate year of a Master’s program, and enrolled for the entire internship duration. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional ESA languages is a plus.

Formación

• Knowledge of planetary science or geoscience; ability to prove enrollment for the full duration of the internship.
• Good command of English; French is an asset but English required.

Responsabilidades

• Support analogue sample activities in Vulcan Facility.
• Collaborate with ESA teams on sample recipes and characterisation techniques.
• Assist in data collection and analysis of analogue samples for mission studies.
• Contribute to ongoing research projects within ExPeRT and ECSAT teams.
