Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited offers a 12-month Environmental Testing internship in Stevenage, focusing on vibration and thermal vacuum testing. You will work at the heart of operations, gaining hands-on test engineering knowledge and contributing to live projects within the EVT group.

The role develops professional skills through mentorship, a chosen Placement Development Project, and proactive learning during a high-consequence environment, with hybrid working options where applicable.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduates for the full duration of the placement.
• CV and Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability required.
• Ready to be challenged in a high-consequence environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Test Operations: support environmental testing lifecycle from setup to data collection.
• Real-World Troubleshooting: diagnose and adjust during live tests under pressure.
• Technical Methodology: learn vibration profiles and TVAC thermal principles.
