Job summary

Imperial College London’s Space Magnetometer Lab invites applications for a full-time fixed-term role based at the South Kensington Campus. You will build data pipelines to manage large-scale data from HelioSwarm magnetometers and develop high-quality visualisations to support engineers and scientists.

You will work with open-source and proprietary software, maintain 50+ data pipelines and web systems, and gain hands-on experience with flight-grade space hardware.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines and visualisations for large-scale scientific data.
• Familiarity with open-source and proprietary software used in data processing.

Responsibilities

• Build a new data pipeline to manage large-scale data streams from HelioSwarm magnetometers.
• Develop high-quality data visualisations to support engineers and scientists.
• Contribute to both open-source software (GitHub) and the management of proprietary software.
