Job description

Nestling at the foot of the Mountains of Mourne, the magnificent Slieve Donard Resort and Spa stands in six acres of immaculate private grounds. A golden strand of beach borders one side while the mighty Royal County Down golf course frames the other. This lovingly maintained Victorian hotel is home to one of Europe’s finest resort Spas and is perfect for a short break, residential conference or grand event. Position Statement:

As Spa Therapist you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out the full range of ESPA 5* portfolio which includes massage.
• Providing an efficient and professional level of guest service.
• Presenting a professional image to all guests in line with the ESPA and brand standards.
• Upselling all Spa products and services.
• Carrying out Reception duties as and when required within the Spa.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum requirement – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable guest focused approach, with a passion to deliver 5* customer service.
• Exceptional treatment standards with passion for holistic treatments.
• Be a team player who can motivate others and lead by example.

Desirable Requirements:

• 1 year of classic Beauty Therapy e.g manicures, pedicures, waxing.
• CIDESCO or CIBTAC qualified.
• Previous experience of working within a guest focused environment.
