Duties and Responsibilities

As Spa Therapist, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Have thorough knowledge and ability to perform spa menu face and body treatments as per Six Senses Spas standards.
• Ensure treatment rooms always have enough supplies as per standards.
• Recommend treatments and products based on lifestyle consultation forms and assessment questions asked to guests.
• Request and log stock of supplies necessary for the treatment rooms.
• Set up the treatment rooms as per standards.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to guests at all times.
• Serve welcome drinks or other menu offerings to guests when required.
• Upsell all property facilities and activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. Strive to maintain and exceed performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Spa Therapist, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Graduated or have broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, beauty therapy at NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO level.
• Understanding and specialization in various beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and uses. Knowledge in the use of facial, nail, or other beauty technology as required to fulfill spa treatments.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
