Duties and Responsibilities

As Spa Reception Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:

  • Lead the Spa Reception team, resolve complex issues, and ensure an exceptional guest experience and collaborative teamwork.
  • Take responsibility for the team's training, equipping all hosts with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Greet guests on arrival and conduct check-in and registration procedures efficiently and courteously, using guest names whenever possible.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the reception area and spa, concentrating on front-of-house areas.
  • Remove and replace towels and amenities in the spa's common areas, including wet areas, as needed.
  • Ensure retail offerings are appropriate and the retail area is set up according to standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments accordingly.
  • Answer telephone and email communications promptly and professionally.
  • Create and update guest profiles, ensuring they are not duplicated.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to guests at all times.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Spa Reception Supervisor role, candidates should have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ experience in similar luxury spas and health clubs, with references. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Technical skills include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Book4time software is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
