Description

V.Ships Leisure is looking for Spa Manager on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The Spa Manager is responsible for the operation and performance of the Spa, beauty salon, barber shop and related facilities as well as managing and motivating the Onboard Spa & Beauty Team to maximize revenue and achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction. The Spa Manager upholds the standards established by our Spa Partner (Guerlain) and ensures compliance throughout the spa operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed Guest expectations of Spa treatments and services through consistent delivery of spa services, adhering to the standards of our Spa Partner.
  • Host regular meetings with the Spa team to discuss objectives, observations, progress and results achieved.
  • Ensure continuous spa training is provided to the team.
  • Enhance Guest satisfaction by curating a unique and personalized spa experience.
  • Be fully conversant with all Spa services and facilities in order to be able to make helpful recommendations, and to be able to up-sell Spa services and products.
  • Accept and accurately records all bookings for Spa services in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure public health compliance in the spa area and conduct Public Health inspections.
  • Continuously review the operation and make recommendations on how to enhance the product.
  • Ensure that all areas are maintained in accordance with Company policy, Public Health (HACCP), SMS and Safety & Environment.
  • Monitor and replenish the relaxation area as needed (teas, infusions, flavored detox beverages).
  • Drafts and communicates operational and financial reports to shipboard management and to our spa partner as requires.
  • Active participation in onboard training programs.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Languages: Fluent English plus one additional international language required (French, German, Spanish, Mandarin).
  • Education: High school degree or related. Spa training mandatory (with our Spa Partner).
  • Previous professional experience: 3 years as Spa Manager in a luxury environment.
  • Shipboard experience: Yes.
  • Valid STCW certificates.
  • Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
  • C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
