We are currently recruiting for a Spa Duty Maintenance Engineer to join the team here at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh, working 5 days out of 7 including weekends.
The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Scotland's leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel, we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities of any hotel in Edinburgh with a capacity of up to 500 as well as our award winning ONE SPA and our One Square Restaurant and bar.
Role:
Our award-winning One Spa is truly special, and we're in search of a dynamic duty engineer to help maintain its pristine condition. Each day will be different, with tasks ranging from replacing light bulbs and touching up paint to conducting daily pool tests and backwashing. In this unique role, you will be responsible for addressing immediate spa repairs, establishing preventative maintenance schedules, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our plant rooms. Strong multitasking skills will be essential as you collaborate with our maintenance management and Spa Director to keep our facilities in excellent condition, ensuring guest and member satisfaction. Additionally, you'll assist with hotel maintenance requests during peak times as needed.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is energetic and self-motivated and who is a jack of all trades. Ideally you will have at least 2 years' experience at something similar although we know how unique this role is.
