About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Attendant to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Perform a professional service according to standard with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
• Ensure that all areas assigned are cleaned and maintained to the required standard, including during refurbishment programs such as walls, doors, and all fixtures and fittings.
• Be fully aware of the work schedule and give adequate notice if all work cannot be carried out. Report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunctions, maintenance faults, suspicious persons, safety hazards, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor or the duty manager.
• Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required to meet business demands and guest service needs.
• Attend training and meetings as required. Assist in maximizing productivity for the Department.
• Follow the Health and Safety manual handling and COSHH procedures closely.
• Any lost property found should be taken immediately to the Housekeeping Office to be recorded with all relevant information to ensure safe return to the owner. Deliver requests to guests in an efficient and courteous manner.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Experience in a 5* deluxe luxury property, preferably in London.
• A team player who works collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel.
• Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with both guests and fellow staff members, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Pre-opening/opening experience is desirable.
• Previous experience as a Spa Attendant is desirable.
• A keen eye for detail is crucial, as the role involves ensuring that every aspect of guest rooms and public areas is immaculate and presented to the highest standard expected in a luxury establishment.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills, being attentive to guest needs, responsive to requests, and always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
