Assistant Ecology Surveyor to support and enhance our project delivery team.
What will you be doing as our new Assistant Ecology Surveyor?You will be responsible for supporting the Technical Leads for bats, mammals, ornithology, habitat and BNG in the delivery of ecological survey work for one or more of the aforementioned technical functions. You will be responsible for supporting the survey lead in the coordination and execution of ecology surveys and associated data management.
You will collaborate with other teams across the Anglian Water (AW) framework to support the business to meet its needs in bringing environmental and social prosperity to the region through our commitment to love every drop.
Key responsibilities:- Plan, manage and deliver ecological survey work.
- Draft and review text for assessment reports.
- Understand, and take into account, stakeholder input.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours:This job might be for you if you have:
- A qualification or equivalent professional experience in a relevant environment or technical discipline.
- Experience of working at a high-level within teams focusing on Habitat and BNG deliverables or other technical functions (e.g. bats, badger, ornithology, water vole, otter and/or dormouse).
- Excellent health and safety awareness.
- Document production abilities using various software inc. excel, word, GIS, PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skill and attention to detail
