Job description

NHS Grampian is seeking a motivated and experienced professional for the permanent role of Clinical Procurement Specialist. This role involves ensuring the effective and efficient use of medical and surgical supplies while maintaining high quality standards.

The successful candidate will provide clinical support and advice to multidisciplinary healthcare professionals regarding the selection, evaluation, procurement, and use of clinical equipment.

They will lead the development and maintenance of interfaces between clinical service users and the Procurement Service, focusing on the use and acquisition of medical and surgical products, stock management, and controlling purchases to meet financial targets.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and/or be a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional, utilizing their specialist knowledge to influence change. They should have experience working within health, social care, or related public sector environments and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
