DEPUTY RADIOPHARMACIST, RADIOPHARMACY & JOHN MALLARD SCOTTISH PET CENTRE, PHARMACY DEPARTMENT, ABERDEEN ROYAL INFIRMARY, NHS GRAMPIAN

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join the multidisciplinary team within the Radiopharmacy and John Mallard Scottish PET Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). The post involves contributing to product release and quality management for both departments, which deliver diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine, focusing on cancer and heart disease among other clinical applications. The departments are housed in purpose-built facilities, including GMP-compliant cleanrooms and a cyclotron for gallium-68 radiopharmaceuticals, unique in the UK.

Applicants must be registered UK Pharmacists, have completed Hospital Pharmacy Vocational Training (or equivalent), and hold or be willing to undertake a Post-graduate Diploma/Degree in Quality Assurance (PTQA).
