Pharmacy Senior Support Worker - Band 3

1-year fixed-term contract

Location: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aseptic Service, Pharmacy Department

Hours: 37 hours per week (Core hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00)

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, high-quality, time-sensitive medicines for patients with specific medical conditions.
• Prepare injectable medicines in a clean room environment.
• Manage stock control and rotation.
• File paperwork and dispense prescriptions.
• Set up medicine trays for aseptic dispensing.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and cleaning within aseptic areas.
• Package and prepare items for transport.

Qualifications and Experience:

• IT and Pharmacy experience is essential.
• In-house training will be provided.
