Job description

An exciting opportunity at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team as a permanent Band 7 CT superintendent radiographer.

Location and Area

Elgin is situated on the south coast of the Moray Firth in North East Scotland, within an area of outstanding natural beauty, offering vibrant cultural and sporting activities. It is 40 miles from Inverness and 70 miles from Aberdeen.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead, manage, and develop the 24/7 CT service at this busy district general hospital. The radiology services support GP’s, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Paediatrics, Medical, General Surgery, A&E, Rheumatology, Respiratory, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Orthodontics.

The department encourages professional development, CPD, and role extension. The candidate will deputise for the Site/Deputy Superintendent when required, possess sound knowledge of general radiography and workflows, and lead Quality Assurance and Clinical Audit programmes.
