SP207354 - Community Mental Health Nurse

As a registered Mental Health Nurse, on Part 3 of the NMC Register, you will be an integral member of Community Mental Health working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse providing assessment, care, support and treatment interventions to people and their families/carers for those under the age of 65 years.

As a mental health nurse, you will join a service that is continually developing to meet the needs of our client group. You will have experience of team working, problem solving, flexibility, continuing professional development and change management. You will have day-to-day responsibility for managing your workload, including delivering clinical supervision and taking on the role of assessor/mentor to our student nurses, and a commitment to partnership working with a range of stakeholders.

You will be educated to degree level or have a relevant post-graduate qualification and experience relevant to the job purpose. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a well-developed knowledge of mental health problems/illness and appropriate interventions, coupled with sound organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, are essential for this post. A car owner/driver is essential.

Hours - Tuesday – Friday.
