Job summary

The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) is looking for a regionally based coach developer to join our expanding team of regional coaches. You will deliver UEFA C award regionally and work toward licenced tutor status, mentoring candidates and maintaining CPD records.

Successful applicants will have UEFA A Licence (preferred), experience with elite players, and be capable of evenings/weekends travel. The role requires strong communication and collaboration across PFA departments.

Qualifications

• Hold a current UEFA A Licence (preferred).
• Preferably hold FA Licenced Tutor Status to UEFA C Award.
• Knowledge and experience of the English professional game.
• Knowledge and experience of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP).
• Knowledge and experience of working with elite players in academy settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the UEFA C award to your allocated group of clubs or prepare for licenced tutor status.
• Provide mentoring and support to all course candidates as required.
• Maintain CPD records for coaching awards and tutor status.
• Participate in Internal Verification and sampling to uphold standards.
• Attend PFA Coach Development Department staff meetings as requested.
• Maintain detailed records of course delivery and member interactions.
• Keep up-to-date with professional football issues and trends.
• Work evenings and weekends to support members as needed (overnight stays possible).
• Hold UEFA B Licence tutor status and deliver UEFA B Licence regionally.
• Hold UEFA A Licence tutor status and deliver the national UEFA A Licence with FA staff.
• Collaborate with other PFA departments for integrated approaches.
