Job Title: Southwark- Assistant Team Manager- Older People and Physical Disabilities

Location: Southwark, London, United Kingdom

Pay Rate: £40 per hour

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager specializing in Older People and Physical Disabilities to join their esteemed client. To succeed, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a degree in Social Work, and have post-qualification experience working with older adults and physically disabled individuals, including those with mental health and substance misuse needs. The role involves complex mental capacity work, including Court of Protection applications, indicating a high level of responsibility and expertise.

Responsibilities include:
  • Undertaking complex social work interventions lasting 6 weeks or more
  • Working with older adults and physically disabled people, including those with mental health and substance misuse needs
  • Conducting complex mental capacity assessments and Court of Protection applications
  • Performing Safeguarding enquiries, assessments, and reviews under the Care Act 2014
  • Providing multi-disciplinary input to Continuing Health Care processes
  • Participating in the team’s duty rotation schedule
