Job summary

Medivet is seeking an Operational Partner to co-own and lead a Southeast London cluster of four veterinary practices. This non-clinical leadership role combines clinical oversight with strategic business management, backed by equity ownership and strong support from Medivet’s central functions.

You will mentor and empower teams, drive operational performance, and shape the growth trajectory of the practices while maintaining exceptional patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon is required.
• Proven experience in operational and/or leadership roles.
• Desire for strong clinical standards with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
• Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
• Ability to influence, engage, and build relationships at all levels.
• Commercial awareness with a track record of delivering results.
• Passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire veterinary and support teams across the cluster.
• Drive day-to-day operational performance and KPI achievement across the cluster.
• Oversee recruitment, development and retention of colleagues.
• Champion Medivet values and foster a positive working environment.
• Shape the clinical and business direction with equity ownership.
• Ensure clinics meet high standards of patient care and client service.
